Monologue:
Our class read and analyzed Macbeth while learning about monologues. Afterwards, we wrote our own monologues about themes in Macbeth that are still relevant today. The theme my partner and I chose is "tyranny".

Macbeth has sinned
According to our will
Before this is all over
How many people shall he kill
To rule as Scotland’s king
Beside his promise queen,
Bewitched by ambition,
The canker’d heart she carries,
Broken it is by grief
In king’s robes be dressed,
cut-purse of the throne is he
With naught but cowardice possessed
His only right a false prophecy,
of self fulfilling destiny
He had a friend to shoulder blame
Now which has gone to colme-kill
Banquo to be a righteous thane
Now has turned to pig swill
But his blood still runs true,
To usurp that fool Macbeth
After all is said and done
To come and claim it’s due
Far across the land
And attempt to strike him down
Would they obtain their prize,
And Macbeth lose his crown
For truth will only with time
The outcome of his reign
Macbeth before the river styx,
Or Malcolm to be slain
